In my opinion this is not needed. The tea pods will fit in the regular pod holder. The company says to use this to eliminate coffee flavor. But, I have found it to be unnecessary. I did unwittingly purchase one, which I hardly ever use. Most of the time I use a CoffeeDuckCoffeeduck Permanent Refillable Filter for the ORIGINAL Senseo (does not work with the Senseo Supreme or Senseo Deluxe) filter. I tear the pods open and pour into the CoffeeDuck. I purchased the CoffeeDuck as I like different flavors of coffee and find using the CoffeeDuck to be a lot cheaper than using pods.

In a home with three coffee drinkers and one tea drinker the Senseo HD7994 T-Pod Holder was a needed accessory. The AM ritual is now less combative. The green handle color quickly designates the tea choice in the pre-loaded pod holders. Item was reasonably priced and was shipped quickly.
